Part name: Organical adapter
Material: Polycarbonate
Color: purple with transparent effect
Applicaiton: Dental field
Part size:
*Plastic mold: 1x2 cavities in S136 steel, hardened with polished surface
*Mold cavity steel material: NAK80, not polished yet
Mold core steel material: S136, not polished yet
Plastic part produciton:
a.All-electric injection molding machine, suitable for producing high-precision and micro-small engineering plastic parts.
b.The use of screw plasticization, plunger injection structure and PID temperature control, effectively ensure the stability of plasticization and measurement.
c.Full motor drive avoids oil leakage and oil & gas pollution problems of hydraulic drive injection molding machine, keep plastic parts clean, greatly reducing environment noise.
*After checking by caliper, dimensions' control accuracy are good to final adapter 'STEP' drawing(w/ original dimension 37.2mm length changed to 20mm to improve injection filling and demolding, thanks to customer's kindness without fogetting this point which was mentioned by mold designer in the begining) for mold building.
Plastic parts from 3rd mold test 16th Jan., 2020
During 2nd mold test, there was shrinkage problem at the center of side with injection gate, this is solved by enlage the size of injection gate.
*Mold improvement: uneventful bottom surface in big slot was caused by one individual ejector pin with bigger pushing force pushes local surface higher than the rest, 12pcs more flat ejector pins are added in back mold to distribute and balance the push-up force together with original 8pcs round ejector pins. -Mar.28, 2020

Druing the production of 1st order,
1) these situations were experienced, the ejector pins' breaking, changing and height adjustment, injection gate size changing bigger.
2) it was learned: the transparency of the part made from transparent PC + pigment is better than from regrind resin + pigment or from transparent PC + pigment +pigment diffusion oil)
