The plastic molding features for transparent plastic parts
Transparent plastic parts have high light transmittance requirement, so the surface quality is very important. The surface defects are not permitted, such as streak, air hole, whitening, fog halo, color change, black spot and bad luster etc, therefore in the whole plastic molding process, the raw plastic material, equipment, molding tool, even the plastic part design must be strickly controled, and special attention is necessary in some cases. Secondly, transparent plastic raw material has characters of high melting point and not good flowability, to assure surface quality of plastic parts, except usual higher temperatue in the molding process, fine adjustment to molding parameters of injection pressure and injection speed are also needed, so that the cavities are fully filled, meanwhile, the internal stress are not produced, which result in deformity and cracking of plastic parts.
