1) A cover: PC material, blueish gray transparent color size: 12.5 x 5.5 x 2.2cm
B bottom cover: ABS/PC material, black color size: 12.5 x 5.5 x 2.2cm
Tooling cavities: 1x1+1x1
2) The box is technical product and after installation it is hidden, reason for transparency is that some products have led on PCB and those need be seen during testing and installation.
3) Logo letters and led window positions need be polished, treatment on visible surfaces is similar to VDI33 texture, blueish gray color on A cover is similar to Pantone 7540. inside surface of A cover is polished to some degree and that of B bottom cover keeps as it is naturally molded without extra process.
4）Due to different raw materials and colors are applied to part A and B, they need be separately produced by one tooling, switchable injection gate insert is used in the tooling for controling running direction of melted material.
Tooling fabrication progress on Sept.23th: EDM processing on core side and cavity side are finished, then wire cutting and polishing work will follow. Whole tooling fitting test and final polish work are supposed to be done by end of this month.
